A number of artists have been involved in the save the 100 Club campaign. Paul McCartney played his smallest gig in a decade at the 100 Club last Friday (December 17).

Now the venue is set to join up with a mystery sponsor in order to stay open, The London Evening Standard reports.

‘’We are actually in talks now with somebody who's stepped forward who wants to sponsor the club. I can't tell you any more than that because I've signed terms so I'm tied to a confidentiality agreement,’’ owner Jeff Horton said."
